) Get the mossy rock. Go to the fenris balloon landing and go n,ne,e,n,n,n,n,e,n,n then type ‘search water’.
b) Go to the swamp guru who is east and southish from the mossy rock. You have to find a boulder , enter it, search the ceiling, and then search the floor to get out. Clean the Mossy Rock while you are in there with him. It turns into a ruby eye. I said lots of things to him but he won’t say anything back.
c) Read the books in the Marrdan library (type ‘read books’ to show which books you can read)
d) Go to the gypsy elder and say ‘mossy rock’ and ‘ruby eye’
e) Go to the Idol and place the eye in the idol (‘put eye in idol’)
Some of these steps may be irrelevant but this is exactly what I did and the quest worked. I’m not sure if it only works sometimes because I’ve tried it multiple times and I’ve only gotten it to work now. Sometimes the syntax ‘put eye in idol’ doesn’t work either. No idea why that happens.
